Bob McCoy, owner and operator of Armco Inspections and Armco Infrared, is a North Carolina Registered Professional Electrical Engineer, Experienced Commercial Building Inspector and Property Condition Assessor, former NC Licensed Home Inspector and Level 3 Certified Infrared Thermographer.

- ASTM E-2018.8 Standard Property Condition Assessments including reserve study for a client specified term and inflation rate for any size, age, configuration or condition building or property
- Long and shortwave Infrared roof moisture inspection and condition assessment
- Nuclear gauge roof inspections for internal roof assembly moisture
- Electronic roof leak detection with both high and low voltage technologies for precise breach location
- Infrared and Ultrasound building electrical inspections from utility transformer to point-of-use
- Infrared/Blower-door building air leakage and insulation inspection
- Building envelope and interior wall moisture or leakage inspection
- Co-ordination of additional evaluation work by other engineering or technical specialties: ESA (Environmental Site Assessment Phase 1 and/or 2, Structural, Foundations, Site drainage, Building envelope, Water intrusion, Interior environmental (IAQ, Mold, etc), Roof, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.
In addition to the initial consultation, we provide both oral and written inspection reports and work with our clients in understanding the inspection results. Depending on the need, we may also help formulate and prioritize action plans and/or facilitate the acquisition of additional investigation services (structural, environmental, water intrusion, roofing, electrical, etc.)
